Mondays Supper Club

6 March, 7-10pm

We’ve parented with Highbury pop-up restaurant Project Awana. Join us for a fun evening and enjoy four delicious courses with a few nibbles between courses, all prepared by the team behind Project Awana.

The inspiration for Project Awana’s supper club is the rich food cultures of the world. We seat everyone around a communal table in a relaxed, inviting environment and strive to keep our guests guessing just a little bit. Our hope is that Mondays will give you something to look forward to at the start of the workweek, giving you an opportunity to meet people – new or old – and connect with them in a fun and creative space.

Guests welcome from 7pm, with the dinner starting at 7.30pm. Tickets are £35 per head – book your space here!

Introduction to Startup Law

16 March, 6.30 – 8pm

In this free legal session, Buckworths will cover the basic legal issues and documentation required by startups to get up and running.

The seminar will cover introductory issues such as incorporation, registration for corporation tax, PAYE and VAT (if necessary), employing people, customer contracts and compliance with laws. The session will also explore the various investment and grant funding schemes readily available for startups.

Drinks and light refreshments will be served throughout the evening. Reserve a spot at this free event here.

The Boardroom to the Stage – Presenting and Public Speaking

23 March, 6 – 8pm

Annik from PONY Express Speakers will be sharing her tips on speaking in front of groups and big audiences. In this session, Annik will be looking into techniques in order to control nerves and come across as confident in front of any audience. Learn tools easy to implement and techniques to improve your impact and presence. The content is based on the concept of experiential learning, which is a high-impact educational training practice. It’s a learner-centred approach that will get you off your chair, actively involved and responsible for your progress in a safe training environment. It’s free to attend – sign up here.
